Facial beauty is commonly associated with symmetry, even skin tone, white teeth, and full cheeks and lips. Working to improve these aspects of our appearance increases beauty.
There are many ways to do this, none of which involve pharmaceuticals or surgeries.
Collagen
Females have thicker cheeks and plumper lips than males due to estrogenic effects. Increasing collagen density within the lips and cheeks can mimic this.
Collagen is a major protein peptide in humans, it’s our most abundant protein. We can digest it and utilize it as a whole protein, without having to break it down into it’s amino acid constituents first.
Supplementing with collagen can markedly improve skin. It improves skin elasticity, wound healing, increases the collagen density within the skin, improves skin hydration, and reverses multiple signs of skin aging. Collagen mutations won’t be beautiful. Supplementing with collagen ensures that mutations remain unlikely.
Exfoliating can help build collagen in the skin. Many use light acids like glycolic, lactic, or vinegar. The slight irritation causes a collagen building response.
Hyaluronic acid can also be used to hydrate the skin and boost collagen.
Exercises and Massage
Multiple studies have shown that routinely doing facial exercises and facial massage improves appearance and symmetry. This is especially helpful when symmetry has been lost due to aging and sun damage.
Eyebrows
Such an easy thing to manicure your brows. Probably the easiest thing. A good set of tweezers is all you need. Go with your natural brow and clean up the strays. Make only minor shape changes.
Teeth
White teeth are associated with attractiveness for both males and females. Charcoal toothpaste is excellent for removing stains, including coffee and tobacco. I don’t recommend whitening teeth products because they harm the teeth. Red light is especially helpful for whitening teeth, improving gum health, and halting decay.
Nose
There isn’t much that can be done for the nose, other than facial exercises and massage. I’ve been experimenting with a combination of red light and massage to try to lift the tip of my nose. There has been some progress.
Shaving
Shaving is an effective exfoliating practice, thus stimulating collagen production. Some have said that when you shave, one-third of what comes off is skin. You can shave your whole face, if you like. You have to use a razor, an electric razor won’t exfoliate much.
Lips
Building collagen in the lips improves their size and appearance. Using red light can build collagen within the lips… and likely whiten your teeth at the same time.
Overall Face
Light therapy is quite effective at improving appearance. Use red light to build collagen, yellow light to reduce redness, blue light for acne, and green light for skin lightening… which reduces melanin and eliminates a ‘tan’.
